Rally New York

Anyone going to Rally New York. Lots of Evo's vs Sti's and other types of fast cars. All tarmac event with many spectator areas. Plenty of speed. For more information this is the website Rally New York Homepage Its on April 7-8 in Monticello, New York.

I was fortunate enough to attend in April 2004. This event appears to be getting bigger and better. In '04 they mostly were on gravel. It appears this event is all tarmac. A lot less dust. I am thinking of going on Saturday April 8th. Anyone from Long Island or NYC want to caravan?

thats why stages 7,9,11 were cancelled ?

7 and 9 were run as normal. 11 was cancelled because of local(s) who made their way onto the rally route going the wrong way during the stage (I believe). Had nothing to do with the car in the drink. They had started 10 or so cars on SS11 before scrapping it.
