the track minus the concrete patches and whatnot is going to take a bit to get used to !

I just wanted to give a BIG thanks to Robert Fueller for the set-up tips. It was a pleasure meeting him, Dave Buschur and all of the guys from the shop (Jarrod, Nick, Trent........sorry can't remember them all).

The Buschur EVO with Robert behind the wheel was wicked fast and was able to "take-out" the mighty Viper in our TT group

I was able to muster a 1:44.9 out of my EVO on Falken Azenis......with some of the suggestions that were made and race tires I should do well in the TTA class.

Robert can give you his fast lap time of the weekend if he wishes.

Dave, it was great to finally meet you; Robi, sorry I couldn't stick around until saturday to meet you guys. I had a pretty good time, including bombing around in the pouring rain friday afternoon.

 

Too bad you couldn't make the rest of the weekend. The weather Sat. and Sun. was great. I picked up a screw or something Saturday and had my LF go down the last lap of session 3, hence the new tires Sunday.

It's probably worth reminding people that you have to be careful in the rain. A guy with an STi put it in the wall down the back straight on the first lap of session 4. He was all right but I think the car was totalled.

We need to hear from Trent what he thought of this. I'm guessing it was his first time at Mid-Ohio? And when are we going to see Dave B. on track?
