little bit of bad news..... SPEED messed up.. and didnt catch the GTO's passing us on the last lap...

they passed on the strate... both at the same time...


stinks... but we ran a really good race tho... i had the flu earlier this week and im still sick.. put in a 2.5 hour stint.. it was pretty tuff...

but yuh.. 5th.. not 3rd....




we have really been getting the car moving pretty good lately... hope to actualy be on the podium pretty soon....

Agreed. That was a crazy day of racing at the Glen. Too bad GT gets shafted on coverage when the DPs are running. Nice job at Lime Rock as well.


Any thoughts on the GTOs? Wolf thinks they were sandbagging; I'm not so sure.

yuh.. yellows let them get rite behind David.. and he did his best but coulndt hold them off...


the GTO are sandbaggin... they loligag till the race starts... they could go even faster if they wanted...


polatics... stinks.. we dont have much if a chance because Wolfs car is so fast... it has about 100k worth of stuff thanks to Tony Dowe.... our car just isnt on the same level as it.... so Porsches dont get a break when 1 porsche is running the same times as the GTO

I was only at the track friday, I had to be back saturday for a wedding. I stopped by twice to say hello and the crew told me I had just missed you both times. Sorry I missed you but Great job!!! I had my Porsche hat on and drove the Evo up to watch you, so it was a blast for me, hope you had fun.

It wasn't Leh's fault - It was Murray that let the GTO's pass

 

Yeah I wasnt able to go but the rest of my crew went and said that leh did great, climbing the pack and they said he showed strong signs of confident driving during the wet and dry. Leh won that race last year so finishing top 5 is pretty significant. Good job I'll post pictures of him in the car from the 6hr soon.

 

At least 5th is still in the points and given the track conditions you and David did fantastic. I'm sure ABS would have helped a tad, but at least it wasn't a GTO repeat from Lime Rock.
