One theory I have heard is that the majority of the road courses are counterclockwise and the passenger side is the outer wheel in a counterclockwise rotation. The problem I have with that theory is that my gets a bit light if I am using the brakes while cornering. Needless to say, I try to keep my braking to straight lines.

It's not true on the West Coast that "most tracks are counter-clockwise." In Calif. It's about 50/50. The Big Track at Willow Springs and Sears Point/Infineon are always run CW. Calif. Speedway and Laguna Seca always run CCW. Thuderhill, Streets of Willow and Buttonwillow are run in both directions, but T-hill is usually CCW and the other 2 are more often run CW. In Nev., Spring Mtn. And Las Vegas Motor Speedway outside roadcourse are always CW,and Reno-Fernley is always CCW (I think).

All the tracks I have run on are clockwise, and my RF caliper is waaaaaay darker than the LF.

Ditto. I've yet to be on a CCW course and my RF is a lot darker.

I've run both CCW and CW all last year and my RF is darker like everyone else. I bet money it's the oil cooler.
