I'll be at the next one in August. Wanted to go this weekend, but didn't have enough time/ money to get my DSM ready again.

 

I would go this weekend but im gonna be too busy with autox on sunday then gingerman HPDE on monday. I will be at the august NASA event though (atleast I plan too.)

Hey Derek, it was nice meeting you this weekend. I will be at the August event, but will only be running one day - friday or saturday - not sure yet. I'm trying to get more guys to the events. Put Putnam in October on your calendar, hopefully we can get a big group there for the last event of the year.

 

I was there also, but no one noticed me. I was turning wrenches on spec miatas. I see all of ya and I want to play, but i just help with the miatas. see you all at the next mid ohio event or we will be at autobahn in chicago next weekend

992gnt, how'd it go in TTA?

 

It went pretty well. It was a lot of fun, and the car was really competitive until they moved up a well prepped Mustang from TTB to TTA - he was 4 seconds a lap fater than me. I had more brake trouble (boiled fluid every session), and I think my tires are done, but running in TT was a blast - I love the open passing. I had as much fun spectating from the drivers seat as I did driving.

 

We had 00 rented out in the tt/hpde, the sm race, and hpde 3. We crewed for Eric Meyer & Dennis Joynt. Did you know that a miata can go airbourne with all 4 wheels off hte ground down the front straight at mid ohio. I will catch up woth who ever will be at autobahn or the next mid ohio event.
