Autocross classes: camber plates?

What class do camber plates put an Evo in for autocrossing? I also have springs and a rear swaybar, which I know bumps me from AS to STU. Do the camber plates bump me to BSP or perhaps SM, or can I stay in STU? Thanks.

"The following allowances apply to strut-type suspensions. Ad-
justable camber plates may be installed at the top of the strut
and the original upper mounting holes may be slotted. "

2006 rulebook -- p. 72 (street touring)

If you're tuned - with upped boost- you go to BSP, same deal if you use r-compounds.

In most cases it's up to the driver of the car to prove that they have the equipment required for their class. Local events are a little more lax (usually) but nationals tours are hard-core for rules.

As long as you're not competitive no one will care. But if you are competitive and aren't honest about your mods then that is a pretty ****ty thing to do.

Changing the boost from stock levels puts you in SM.

No, it's not funny as hell ... it actually sucks for the person that losses to you if he is ultra competetive.

BTW, as others have said STU does allow camber plates ...

Seriously. It's the driver's responsibility to correctly class their own car. It just spoils everybodys fun if you lie.

While boost control would certainly make all of the STU EVOs faster, it's not going to make a midpack driver dominant.

Anyone who has them have any suggestions? What do you guys have and are you happy with them?

I currently do not have them and need them to get the proper set up.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

So you're saying that's OK? Who cares about anyone else as long as *you're* having fun?

How about classing yourself appropriately and having fun in the *right* class. If you're mid pack in one class, odds are good you're still going to be beaten in the other class, right? But one would be the *right* thing to do. This way, everyone can have fun.

If you can get ahold of them the Noltec caster/camber plates are very nice. I'm running just a simple set of HKS camber plates right now. I hope to have my Noltec's in before Nationals but...I have a feeling that's not going to happen.
