He drove well, congrats. Although that car, with the competition on hand, was a pretty big overdog.

I thought that was the same Cory with the silver Evo, but I never went and said hi. I drove the white Evo at the Time Attack (First in AWD Limited (Pretty much stock sans RA1s and Konis)).

I'll have some in car up Thursday-ish.

Congrats to Cory on the win. How about some results. Times, and who else entered?

I talked to Cory last night, he ran a 1:30.? the Silvia ran a 1:33 or so. It was not the same driver that ran at the Redline Time Attack.

Do we know who was driving the Silvia. Tyler McQuarrie, who drove at the redline event was definitely quick. A little article on Tyler for those who don't know him.

http://www.tylermcquarrie.com/news-20040625.html

and another

The Silvia was not slow through the turns at Shenandoah, and certailnly had some big straightline speed. If the Silvia driver was getting it done in the turns, then that is a pretty impressive margin by Cory. Any feedback on how well driven it was at Road Atlanta?

Speed Gt Porsche 911's run low 1:27s, so a 1:30 lap would be moving along at a pretty good clip.

As Jon said, Tanner was driving the Silvia and running consistant 1:33s all weekend. He drove very well from what I saw of him on course and watching from grid.

I thought I saw a camera in Cory's car, but he'll have to chime in to confirm that. Also, he ran a 1:29.XXX during Nasa-SE's event over the weekend from what I was told by T&S.

What would make you say that? Tanner has almost no road race experience, while Tyler has over 10 years. Not to mention that while talking with the crew at Shenandoah, they seemed to disagree with that opinion. But back on topic, Anything under 1:30 is flying.

OK..... But I don't recall ever saying that I am awesome. And... to use a phrase that you like. You don't know me, How exactly do you know how much track experience I have sir? The silvia beat you at Road Atlanta? I didn't know you were there.
