Thumbs up Streets of Willow track days - 9/29 & 10/2

Leadfoot Adventures is holding a pair of track days at Streets of Willows on Friday Sept 29th and Monday October 2nd. Registration is only $145 for one day or $270 for both. Registration is now open at motorsportsreg.com.

As at all Leadfoot Adventures track days, breakfast in the morning and bottled water all day are included at no extra charge, as is instruction for all novice drivers. On Friday the course will be run in the counter-clockwise direction and on Monday it'll be reversed and run in the normal clockwise direction. There will be 3 or 4 run groups depending on how many novice, intermediate, and advanced drivers sign up. Expect to get about 2 hours of track time each day, and to leave with a big *** grin on your face.

Event details are at the Leadfoot Adventures website. See ya at the track!

What to do with that pesky weekend in between the leadfoot Fri. and Mon. events at Streets of Willow? Well consider a 4-day weekend on the road courses of SoCal. SpeedVentures has an event at Buttonwillow on the weekend of Sept. 30 and Oct. 1. www.speedventures.net

(sorry for hijacking your thread -- it's an ugly job, but someone has to do it)

The most number of track days I ever ran in a row was 4, about a year ago. There was a 2-day Tracquest (now NCRC) event at Thunderhill. When I was there, one of the instructors told me there was a 2-day driving school at Reno-Fernley right after the T-hill event, so I went. Plus I drove from L.A. to T-Hill to Reno and back home again.

Now THAT's a dedicated track *****!! Best I've ever done was 3 days in a row before the old ball and chain put the APB out on me. When I grow up I want to be like Richard!!

I can do better than that. In the first year I had my EVO, I ran 45 track days. Of course I am divorced and deeply in debt. Lmfao

If it's the temperature you're worried about, the average afternoon highs out there at the end of September are only 85-86 degrees.

^ Yep, really. The historical average high for our Buttonwillow event on Aug 18th (95) was dead on.

The early-bird discount period ends on Monday, by the way. Reg will remain open until the event sells out, though.

We'll also be setting up a discount at a local motel, so stay tuned for details.

Refer a driver to these events and you'll be entered into a drawing to win a free Leadfoot track day. There's no limit to the number of drawing entries you can earn, so be sure to tell your buddies to put your name down as the person who referred them!
