I want to see him drive one of the other cars to see how much better Sofronas was as a driver. The Porsches have huge amounts of development time in them. But I do suspect he is a great driver. Tarzan has a lot of hype, but has he ever done well at a serious race series?

 

I wouldnt take anything away from Sofronas, hes always top 8 in speed GT. Its really cool to have well known race cars entering a time attack with our tuners. I'd love to see some V8 (lingenfelter... cant spell) guys and some vipers (hennessey) come play too.

but he did a grand am cup race in phenix and didnt do that well...

 

I think it was in an RX-8 Dorsey Schraeder was commenting that Tarzan wasn't accustomed to having others on the track; Time Attack kinda driver

The crawford vid right at the end someone shoots off int the infield. Looks like a fun track.

 

Most people forget that some of the Japanese drift/time attack drivers are/were also JGTC drivers in Japan. Included in that list is Yamada,Orido and Tanaguchi. If I remember correctly,Yamada used to drive the Taisan Viper.

No he didn't. He had Andre drive it since Buttonwillow is his home track. Rob figured Andre could pull better lap times.

They broke a rear control arm on the second to last session. I'm sure Andre would had dropped his time if had run the last one.
