Glad to hear it. I've been going really fast in both auto-x and road racing, so the lack of harness has made driving difficult. It sounds like this will be a great interim step until I go full race.

It's just called "road racing," you know that. I am not wheel to wheel racing - just doing Time Trials with NASA this year. Notice above how I said "until I go full race." Instead of getting a harness without a cage or roll bar, I'm using the CG lock. When I get my license and begin actual racing, I will have a cage and proper harnesses.

My buddy that I introduced to HPDE used to say it all the time. And I'd correct him each time. People can get the wrong idea about HPDE's when the word "racing" is included in the description of the event, especially to people not acquainted with a NASA sanctioned event like you and I. Maybe not in the motorsports forum but definitely in the more general forums.
Happy Thanksgiving,
I'm working. Hope You and the rest of the forum have a good dinner with friends and family. And hope to meet you on the track soon
