Today was a wet one at thunderhill.

The track was wet from 8:30am to 1pm. Dense fog closed the track down 2 times in that period.

It finally started to dry up at 1:30pm and I went out and did 2 sessions.

The video is the 2nd session that afternoon. The track was still wet and cold in a couple corners as you can tell by my tip-toeing around them.

Today I fell in love with my evo all over again. Watch the video and you will know why. We really own amazing cars.

what did you use to rig up your in car camera? That is really clean video, no shakes!

 

Bryan's got some good competition in Norcal....mostly other Evos!

Those hoosiers were completely shot last time out Bryan...they had 20 20 min sessions on them....Plus, I'll count it even since you have about 35 WHP more than I do and 60-70 More Ft pounds of torque...

 

btw: 3rd vid i have seen with a viper not letting a Evo pass. trend maybe?

Nice driving, I'm assuming you have some sort of coilover setup, if so what is it and how has it been working for you.

 

Thanks for the kind words Nils. I do get humbled at the track at some events. The slick track yesterday made the AWD advantage come out.

 

I think I'm going to spring for the same camcorder and external mic setup as you Bryan. My in-car videos using my digital camera suck ballz..

 

What is the camera setup? I'm looking to invest in one myself.

 

I think it also has to do with how you translate your incar video onto the net.. cause I use the same camera as Bryan (Canon Elura 100) and obviously my in-car does not come out as clean as his...

I am a Apple guy & use iMovie HD.... maybe I should export the video to something other than a quicktime.. anyone have any suggestions?
