ReidSpeed Probe GT; various race clips
hi guys!
i had a spare few hours, so i have been uploading some race vids to google video of my various racecars; i thought you fellas might get a laugh out of them, so here they are, if you care to watch!
Here is at VIR North in 2004. it poured rain about 5 minutes before we reported to grid. i had no rain tires, only old worn BFG R1s. good race, lots of excitement!:

Here is last month's Turkey Bowl race at Summit Point. this is a "fun" race; all the clubs from all around are invited. I took the Probe; by this time in the season, i had no R comp tires left at all; i ran a set of 215 Falken street tires (the Probe is set up for 245 R comps). i was running street brake pads, too! car was a real handful, and seemed to get worse as the weekend went on. the Falkens were bald and a neat purply color by the end of the race weekend!:

the Probe GT is my backup car, and is about as stock a racecar as you will see on the track, short of an SS car! running a stock drivetrain, with headers and homemade exhaust. iceman cold air intake. stock ecu. stock final drive. no lsd. running eibach street springs with tokico front shocks. stock oem rear shocks. addco rear swaybar. ReidSpeed Racing front brake kit. and of course the cage and all other safety gear. the car has almost 190k miles on it, with at least 30k race miles. its got tremendous heart, though! i was running 4 to 5 seconds off its usual pace, due mostly to those beat down tires! i had a great time, though, and kept all the cars which were kinda "in my class" behind me!
enjoy!
