Video from Infineon - 10/6/06
I finally got a video setup in my car. Here's a video of my driving from my track day at Infineon today. I was running in the high intermediate group. There were a lot of porsches on track! My best lap time was a 1:58.07.

I ran in the high intermediate group, so point-by's are required for passes. But the line the bimmer was driving in the common passing zones would have been interpreted as "pass me" in the advanced group. So maybe the guy just forgot which group he was in. He did held me up for quite a few laps throughout the day too, so after seeing the GT3 and Cayman pass him w/o a point-by, I did the same later that lap.. haha..
As for lap times at Infineon, Kent Jordan runs 1:43s in this configuration, which I believe is around how fast the GT3 cup cars run. The USTCC EVO ran 1:51s - 1:52s the last time I saw it out. My honda challenge buddies who run in H4 (slowest class) runs 1:56s - 1:58s. So at least I'm around as fast as their race cars.. haha.. I make up for cornering speed w/ horsepower!

I'm not sure what mods that gold 911 turbo. I'm pretty sure he was on R-compounds though. He was pretty fast though! I dunno what kinda laptimes these guys were posting as I didn't get a chance to ask them in the pits.
My mods include a quaife front LSD, zeal function v6 coilovers, works rear sway bar set of full-stiff, 255/40/17 RA1s that are at their optimum now w/ no tread left, hehe... For power mods, I just have an hks dp, helix hfc, hks cat-back, 10.5 hotside, helix ic pipes, and a WORKS p2. I made 265awhp on a mustang dyno a while back.

I'm running Hawk DTC-70 front pads and DTC-60 rear pads. They work really well. I'm using the 2-pc Racing Brake front rotors and stock rear rotors still. I've used ATE brake fluid and never had any problems w/ boiling. I also have the factory air guides for the brakes.

I had the Zeal coilovers on my eg6 track car. Oh man they were a killer on the streets even on level 1. My fiance refused to ever get in the car after one ride in it.
How are the V6s on the street?
Glad to hear the ATE fluid is working well for you. I'm leaning towards Motul for next year's track season.
