DTC70 users any feedback?

Compared to what you used (give examples) how you compare them to your other pads.

Thanks

Word I have heard is that the 70s are better for a bit larger car while the 60s initial bite seems better suited to the Evo.

Here's a quick review from me.

DTC 70 = badass and more badass. Way too expensive for a track day pad unless you are REALLY serious about track days. My favorite racing pad to drop into stock calipers. Period.

I love the pads and so far have had no issues with them. They have great initial bite and they hold up to heat very well. I would recommend them over PF 97s and Ferodo 3000/2500s if you can afford them.

No doubt...I am serious about track days, I aint sponsored...These pads are for the rich and famous, or the poor and heavily in debt.

I wish I had something good to say, I just don't have the money, but at that rate, they damned well better be good.

One thing to consider is that high quality pads such as the DTCs on good rotors (like racing brake 2 piece or Girodisc), you can actually save money in the long run. Why eat up 2 or 3 sets of crap when one set of good pads could last you a full season of track days plus?

Some lesser pads just do not deal well with the heat of track days and fail quickly. How much will it cost to fix your car if a pad fails at the wrong time? I'm not saying you have to get these but there are a great many times when saving a few dollars up front can cost you a lot of money later.
