thanks...about 330-350 whp. i was actually running a little less boost, around 1.4 bar that day. i was running a little faster than him, but we swapped positions several times. he got a 3rd place finish in TTU.

I guessed at 350.... You both had about the same exit speed onto the speedway so I figured he needed to fresh'n that motor. too bad for him thats about $22 grand

Funny, I had a similar run in with Mr. Porsche GT3. We were pretty much even on HP (I'm running around 315whp), as our gaps barely changed, then in the Roval he'd just walk. Bugger! Guess those big wings and splitters do work!

i got the sense he would take an occasional lap off and pick it up again.

I am sorry I missed Friday. I saw a few EVOs on sunday. I didn't take any photos this time. I allways bring my camera. I get a good view from the ambulance. I am a nurse who moonlights as a medic for the track. I usually sign up for the NASA SCCA and Speed ventures rental days.

I didn't realize that there were so many medical personel around the track. It's funny...Greenbaum is an ER doc, I'm a neurologist, my wife (who was the trophy girl for the event) is an internist. Hell, Russ Warr is a chiropractor. It's nice to know that we have things covered from different angles.

there are are least one ambulance for every event on track. Last weekend there were 2 on the road course one at karting and one at the drags. Some rentals even pay for a doc in the ICC. All motor cycle events get a doc. Even some of the autocrosses get ambulances if their insurance required them. I may do speed ventures this weekend.

Nice video. {thumbsup} How fast did you get on the oval? Also, do you have a 6-speed? It sounds like you shift to 6th on the oval.

thanks. it was a good time. i didnt have any data acquisition running that day, but i believe my top speed was between 145-150. although mostly i was in the 140-145 range.

yeah, i have a 6 speed. i wish i had a 5 speed though. i've gone through one tranny already and despite rev matching through each downshift from 6th to 3rd at the end of the oval, my gearbox is now feeling a little sluggish (mostly engaging reverse of all gears!).

on 2nd thought, i probably hit a max of around 140-145 and was mostly in the 135-140 range.
