Ran TTA with NASA on Friday. First time at the track. We ran the ROVAL. Got a 1:55with several areas left to improve, probably to low 50s (maybe without the copilot ). It was first place in class. Russ Warr took first in the TTU class with a 1:48.

Turn 9 was killing me. I knew that I should have apexed later, but it was hard to do in practice. It was mostly due to a lack of looking ahead and the long braking zone didn't make it easier. The ole lady was riding shotgun and all the hand waving and motioning was to take it later.

I was also running the DTC 70/60 combo with not the slightest fade or hiccup. The initial bite was fantastic. Just another plug for the HAWK compounds.

Yeah, she is a funny one. She also called me a pansy through Nascar 1 and 2. I guess she doesn't have much instinct for self preservation, especially since it would be her side hitting the wall.

 

Is the footage from SAT or Sunday? I am just curious i was working in one of the ambulances watching on Sunday.

 

Neither. I could only get in for Friday as the weekend filled up with HPDE 1 and 2 and killed all the spots for TT before they could close registration.
