(video) higher speed Autocross

Sponsored by the vette guys, they purposely set the track up to take advantage of their top speeds. They even charged a 4-banger tax for the entry fee. Well, nonmembers paid more, which were the 4-bangers . Every other car was a vette or mustang. I've always been more used to the slower autocrosses where you're topping out 2nd gear only, so this one was something I was excited to learn, cuz I was topping out 3rd also. I found out how much more crucial it is to have such smooth clean lines, cuz I spun out of control my first two laps. Eventually, after some 12 laps, I took 3rd fastest time of the day out of 37 drivers, which was recorded below. My mods are boost controller, dynoflash, and k&n air filter...all on stock advans, which I thought was awesome, cuz most of the top 10 had race tires, suspension and other goodies. Anyways, enjoy.

I loved the course. It had a nice mix of high speeds and low speeds. Yea, the first slalom at the very end that I ran into was pretty crazy, cuz I was going roughly 90ish and then braking down into 1st gear--pretty hard when I haven't mastered heel to toe yet. The camera was mounted right ahead of my sunroof using a digital camera It's an awesome location cuz you can see everything and have easy access to it by opening up the sunroof. I used a tripod suction cup mount to plant it up there--worked fine at those speeds

Was that up at Whitehouse in Jax? I use to auto-x up there with the buccaneer region and did a PCA thing up there.

If I may make an observation, you need to apex a little later

It's at the Hernando Airport in the middle of nowhere 2hrs away from Orlando Yes, I know my lines weren't as perfect as I would like in there, but thanks, I'm always open for critique to make me even better.
