Video from Redline Time Attack @ California Speedway

Hey All,

ESPN2 Import Racers aired a full 30 min episode of the Redline Time Attack held at California Speedway this past FEB 11. Thought some of you would like to see it. A short interview with the AMS Time Attack Evo Driver Paul Gerrard is in there too.
The video can seen here: http://redlinetimeattack.com/index-g.html
The video is in Quick Time Format so be sure to have the latest version of QT installed on your PC or the video won't play right. You'll need Quick Time Version 7 and you can get that at www.quicktime.com

Hope to see you all back at the April 28 & 29 Time Attack held at ButtonWillow.

Thanks,
Chris

Ok checked out all four videos. Amazingly this mass market show might actually be worth watching. Sure it had the regular dose of marketing BS but as far as getting a taste of the event it wasn't half bad. The camera shots as far as in car and on course weren't that great, didn't really get a sense of the speed, but not bad overall. Definitely tivo material.

I guess you have to pay to get your 1st place class finish and second best overall time of the day posted.

It was good coverage, Allthough just a liiiiitle bit biased.

let alone 'overall class championship' win recognition.. atleast you guys got some decent footage of your car & driver...

is all good... they prolly didnt even get too many shots of my car since it wasnt really on track that many times.

I also think that as our Time Attack grows Redline will be in a better position to direct the TV production people that cover our Time Attacks. At this point, we're very happy just to have them come out and cover our events. I don't think it's biased coverage at this point, it's more a lack of knowledge of what's going on. We'll work on that aspect for future broadcasts.
No one paid any money to be featured in the show that I know of.

What makes this show great, is that for the first time ever, Time Attack had a full show dedicated to the whole event. That's a great start for Time Attack racing.

BIG thanks to all of you guys that race with Redline!

It helps that the host is one of my best friends Eric, I got a big apology from Tanner about them forgetting the complete results. It wasn't intentional, it was as Chris suggested, an issue of inexperienced production (which is not in Tanner's hands, he saw the final version when we did...on TV).

FWIW I gave him hell for the fun of it
