From what I read on the stu prep thread, it is the same metal content so it is allowed.

At this point, Im looking at just stepping up hehe. I'll run STU as much as I can until the clutch gives out, then I'll throw the ACT in. Was already looking at cams and 20g LT, and have the funds now actually. Maybe in a month or so. I would like to AT LEAST get a couple autox events under the belt before I have to go to SM.

Im not looking to cheat, thats one of the reasons I asked what class I should be looking to go in. If I know I have a clutch in, Im not going to try to do STU. Thats just not cool. Im really not a big fan of the stock clutch though, so I would rather just step it up and do the mods I wanted to do anyway and run SM. If Im not competitive enough, its probably not going to be lack of car, but more lack of driver

thats not my attitude. i just wanted to say what he told me without seeming like a whiner. I only ran into the guy at a 7-11 in Tukwila, my car isn't flashed. all i have is a filter, testpipe, catback, and my bumper beams removed. maybe he just said that cuz he wanted to sell more flashes.

if its your first year in autoX why dont you run novice if your region has it? mods are free so its actually a really competative class so to speak since you could be running a stock civic against a z06 on r-comps.

You're gonna need a one piece rotor to stay out of SM. Unfortunately...
