First Autox Event !!!
Hey guys,
I did my first autox event today and to tell you the truth i am amazed with my evo.I know that it handles well but i did not expect it to be that good... I was with my stock advants which are pretty new and stock suspension. Up to now i was spending money for horsepower and now i realize that its not just horsepower. Its getting used to the car and knowing how to drive...The average time for today was in the 41's and my best run was 39.08 . I recommend everyone who has not done it to do it.,.. Cos thats where you scratch the need.... Cant wait for the next one.. i will be putting r compound tires once i am done with the advants and aslo some lowering springs...

Glad to hear that you enjoyed your first auto-x event. Before spending the monies on R-compound tires, may I suggest little suspension tweaks first like a thicker rear swaybar.
First season, it's good to learn on street tires first so you'll get to know how the car will behaves. Just my $.02 in.

where was the autox you went to? I am in Columbia. I have been to a few since getting my evo and am always looking for more, especially smaller autox. The rear sway will tighten up the rear, help reduce understeer and get it to rotate. Congrats and I agree they are a ton of fun!
