vid from the Hot Lap race car

Thought I would share my excitement of the new upgrades to my Evo. Over the winter the car went through a huge list of upgrades and I’ll do my best to list them.

First I want to think Jimmy and Al from 'The Shop" in CT. These guys did a great job with my build and I would recommend them to anyone. They went above and beyond for me. Also a big thanks to Buschur Racing for quality products.

Engine:
-Buschur Racing 2.0 race block fully built with all the top stuff
-Cosworth race head with Buschur’s 272 Jun cams with the custom grind
-Buschur 3065 turbo kit making a conservative 500whp@24lbs
-lots of lightweight stuff, mini battery, AC removal and so on
-Buschur race FMIC with piping
-AEM w/wideband

Chassis:
-Custom one off 3 way Penske’s built for my car (I’m guessing the most advanced shock package on any Evo ever) I haven’t even scratched the surface of these shocks.
-6 pt cage
-roll center adjustment kit
-rear control arms and hardened all bushings
-rear bump steer kit
-AIM digital dash
-Recaro SPG hans
-Custom Hot Lap brake cooling kit
-Custom Hot Lap steering wheel adaptor
-car weighs 3040 full of fluid

Coming soon:
Lexan windows and extreme lightening… carbon doors, trunk, hood.
GSC 60/40 split
Maybe more boost for time attacks 
Full aero package…

The car performed unbelievably the first day out. I couldn’t be happier with the cars current setup and it’s only going to get better and faster.

My plans with the car this season is to race the car wheel to wheel in NASA’s Super Touring class. I’m currently in ST1 with my power to weight ratio and running Pirelli slicks. I’ll also be attending all the east coast time attacks and time trails I can get to.

Here is a quick clip of a lap from my shake down testing

Looking fast Kyle. I thought you'd like the 3065 for your uses.

Nice Kyle. I can't wait to get on the track in a couple of weeks to test out the new rotors. Little noisy now, but really good.

Wow,that car is freaking fast. The video is kick butt, would love to meet you at a Time Attack event sometime.

Thanks for using our parts and letting us be part of the build. If you need something else let us know.

BTW, love the first picture of the car. Really hooked up in that corner.

Nice job.
