Towing Hitch Installation??
Towing Hitch Installation??
Hello Everyone,
I would like to install a towing hitch (trailer hitch), so that I can attach a small basket, or small trailer to tow my R-Compound tires to the track.
For now I throw everything in the back seat, but as soon as I get a roll bar it will be hard to do.
Let me know if you see any problem with installing a towing hitch on Evo.
I think the car should be able to tow up to 300lbs without a problem.
Thank you!

I have seen this come up before. I think there is a thread on the wiring too. Try searching, I remember coming up with some things in the past.

Also look in the for sale section. I see a couple for sale in there.

I guess what I really wanted to ask is how the hitch affects my warranty?
Will the dealer freak out if he thinks I am towing with my EVO?
Some Mitsubishi dealers seem to be very friendly to motorsports, I am trying to keep my car as stock as possible, I don't want something silly like a tow hitch to affect my warranty in case I ever have to claim it.
Thank you!
