Been far too long......

But after much ado, I am returning to the Evo world. Hopefully, I will have an RS in the next two weeks, depending on how my leads fair out. I have missed you guys, and I know I have alot of catchin up to do.

Got to start prepping for One Lap ... Not going to build anything crazy, but something to atleast have a shot at top 15.

Thanks....

/boost on/

After doing the One Lap class and talking to a lot of the guys I am tempted to give it a try next year. If you like you can just throw some cash at my RS and we can team up and use it! =-)

Welcome back......soon then!

Man, I really wanna take a shot at one lap. I know I don't have the ability to win, but just to experience it and make it through the entire event setup would be really awesome!
I think I have financial issues though!

Welcome back, David. If you don't remember, you instructed me a while ago at Road Atlanta (white Evo).

After doing One Lap, all I can say is that whatever you build has to be rock solid reliable, but I'm sure you already know this.

Hopefully see you there next year!

This would be sort of an odd Evo/OneLap question but...

How many times does one need to change the fluids during the course of the event? I am switching stuff after every day out so it seems like it would be a killer.

Thanks guys, long story short, I did buy a Mustang, (1990 25th Anniversary), but not a 'track' car. I drove as few buddies car, but for the most part been laying low. I sold the Evo, and have regretted it since. I have looked at everything under the sun, and nothing meets the criteria as well as the Evo. Fun, fast, and four doors ... And now that I don't have to drive anywhere but the airport, no need to worry about miles.

As for my One Lap setup, like I said, it will not be anything to set the world on fire. I will probably do some things to help boost response, and then a simple flash. As for suspension, my confidence and money will got back to Martin and Justin at AMS to sort out. I am not going my own road this time, it is too damn hard. I am going to drop it off, say, I want it to stop and turn, and I will pick it up in two weeks. Problem solved.

Bleed when necessary, change oil one time throughout the event. You don't have time to change stuff every day.
