I was thinking about doing HPDE3 if I could work toward qualifying for the TT program. Otherwise I prefer the other schools that give you more track time.

Does anyone know what the protocol is for that in the mid-atlantic region? I sent an email to NASA (Chris Cobetto) a couple days ago, but haven't heard anything yet. As an HPDE3 student, do you just ask for someone to ride with you to evaluate you for potential elevation for a TT license?

 

Thanks. We had a pretty cool set-up last year with our garage that we have at the track there. Tent, a couple nice cars, food, etc. We'll see about this year though!

Jim and myself. It's a good opportunity for us to catch up with some current and ex-Honda Challenge drivers that we haven't spoken to in a while, plus I hear it's sort of a big deal on the east coast.

Also, not having to lug the canopy + table + chairs + etc makes going to these events so much more relaxing. Just me, my camera, and vroom vroom!!
