Hamilton makes it two in a row @ Indy
Well, another great race by Hamilton, but i think this is going to be very interesting how things are going to be between Alonzo and McClaren.
Other notes - at least Alonzo didn't bomb the first turn this time
1. I guess we got our one good race out of Sato.
2. Why does Massa seem better than Kimi all the time now? I know he was brought over to replace schumi, but massa seems like he's just faster.
3. I don't know how mcclaren will react to alonzo's litttle beef after hamilton shut the door on him. I don't know how long his contract is for, but i really don't see alonzo playing second fiddle to hamilton for another few seasons. Time will tell - French GP in two weeks.
4. Another good run by Kovalinen - 5th on the day, wish i could say the same about Fisi.
He's really starting to pissing me off.
5. ........ and most importantly, Hamilton's go-kart that he used while he was younger will be up for auction on Ebay. Check it out

Alonso is making mistakes and allowing is younger teammate to finish ahead. He made a small error in Q3 and in the race before his second pit stop.
I’m not surprised Massa is doing better then his teammate. I think there was to much hype over Raikkonen and most people just overlooked Massa, Massa was quick last year and at times almost as quick as Schumacher. The thing with F1 (racing in general) its impossible to make direct comparisons between drivers until they are driving identical equipment.
Another flawless race for the young Brit. You gotta hand it to him, he has done a fantastic job so far this season. It was an exciting race, there was a lot of good side-by-side racing back in the pack. Button and Fisi and were goin at it. Oh well, it's on the France, I just hope the Ferrari's can close the gap.
Despite Kimi's bad start today I think he was much faster than massa. Did you not see the last 20 laps where he was right on his tail? Had it not been his teamate, im sure he would have attempted a pass.
YES kimi was outqualified, but that was partly due to his heavier fuel load.
oh yea kimi needs to go to drag racing school.
^ exactly...
why do you keep making threads with spoilers in the subject line?
you do not have any consideration for the people that have not had the time to watch the race yet.

I heard that Hamilton had to changed his engine, how come he didn't get a 10 grid penalty?
About Kimi, I think it's normal that he's out paced by Massa. Massa has been with Ferrari for awhile now and he's used to car. Kimmi is new the team and he used to race on the Michelin so it might take a little more time to get use to it.

Did I confuse you more? Or did I explain that OK?
I soaked absolutely every minute of the race, every minute of the training sesion and every minute of the qualifying.
Just in case anyone notice Alonso was quicker every single day, every single minute from the first day of the training sesions up to the last minute of the Q3 in which he got bumped byHamilton by a mere 1 tenth of a second.
What is my view over this?, well, while Alonso proved total superiority over any competitor over all this USA GP he slipped in the last very minute and very last lap of the Q3. For god sake he was the only one that ran a 1.11sec lap on Q1 and it was like a walk in the park but all that display of fast laps on training sesions and Qualifying did not mean nothing..
Please, don't get confused, while Alonso dominated 99.9% of the entire "pre-race" he let that .001% bite him and he bite him back in the name of P1.
Alonso is learning the hard way, he is undeniably one of the best drivers in F1 in the last decade but Hamilton just emerged out of the blue with a talented errror free racing style and that means that you can't afford absolutely no mistakes with Hamilton.
Hamilton as of today has the most consistent 07 season of any other driver in F1, he had a podium everytime, add the fact that the guy is one of the youngest drivers ever, add the fact that the season tour is all new to him(he never raced at the GP USA, he never raced at the GP Canada, never raced at the GP Australia), etc, etc and you will conclude that Hamilton is a record breaker.
Based on what I have seen, this is my best guess for this year:
1) Hamilton
2) Alonso (needs to make no mistakes)
3) Massa (MCLaren Mercedes seem to be superior, so Massa has disavantage)
4) Either Nick Heilfield or Kimi (Kimi gave the hype in Australia, but he still crashes often and breaks cars often...). Nick is doing fanstastic on his BMW powered F1
Last but not least, this race was a Kimi-Massa and Alonso-Hamilton race, it was truly two races within one race. Speaking of competition, Alonso and Hamilton will not benefit for such rivalry, it is clearly hurting the team and the public relations.

A good example was last years final and decisive Brasilian GP. Renault almost opted for the slower but bullet proof Renault Spec C engine to aim for reliability and compromise on performance. The strategy was about having Alonso finish in the first 8 top positions to guarantie him the second world championship.
Ferrari instead choose the highest performance spec engine they had because they had no other option but to have Schumaker finish first.
Sorry I drifted fro the original topic but one thing lead to another and many people don't know all the regulations because they keep changing it every single year. As an Formula one amateur it is hard to keep up with all the regulations.

Last year Alonso took 4 consecutive poles and wins starting at Magne-cour but slipped off down the road in other European circuits like Monza. Lets use that as a reference and see how he stands this year.
I can probably make a 100 to one bit that Hamilton will torn Silverstone track, anyone want to bet?
Hamilton will mostlikely be extra pumped with adrenaline at his own land with his own public.Carlos
