Fun pic from last weekends autox

Had a two day event last weekend, took 1st in PAX both days.
Just thought I would share this fun pic. We see a lot of 3 wheel evos on here but rarely from this angle.

Hah, that's extreme. Closest I have to that is this pic trying to brake while preparing for the end of this high speed sweeper.

Yea, I was told by two different corner workers that I went on two wheels at that corner for a sec. Sure would like that pic.
Warr, Iam amazed you have that much body roll for a stiffly sprung car.

Me, too, but it's light years better than when I was stock (suspension) on V710s. Knowing that, it also helps you realize how fast I was going. I was also braking while turning, so that attributed to the rear inside lift. On tight turns, it doesn't lift the inside rear as often or as much as it used to...

Hah! Have you perfected lifting the inside rear over the corner of the cones yet? A few corner workers have told me that I have done that.

Nice work on the #1 PAX. How many people normally run at your events? I had an event this weekend also. I managed 9th of 127.

WOW! Is that w/ stock suspension & street tires?

SUPER job on PAX--that's awesome! I can't make out from the pic what class you're running?

BTW, the only cars that can lift the inside rear over the cones (or @ least look like they can) are the 1st gen VW GTIs. I'm really showing my age now...

I wouldnt say I have perfected it, but I have been told I lift wheels over cones often.
Thanks for the kudos. This weekend we had between 70-80 drivers both days. Typically we run between 70-100 drivers per day.
I have been in the top 3 in PAX at every event this year except one. That one course had so many sweepers that I was never on 4 wheels, therefore couldnt put the power down. You know how that is.
Nice job on the 9th in PAX, you probrobly have a LOT more nationally competitive drivers at your local events.

Thats with revalved Bilsteins and Kumho 710's 275F/245R. The car runs in AS.
Since you dated yourself I will too. I ran a 83 GTI for a few years I was already comfortable with the inner rear wheel lift.

Doctor: That is the worst case of rear inside rear tire lift I have ever seen ...
Patient: What can we do about it?
Doctor: Your car is going to require "suspension" surgery ....
Patient: Oh noez! more money ....

That's exactly what drove me to upgrade the suspension on my car to Ohlins DFVs and run in STU instead of running in AS with R-comps. ... Plus I got sick of extreme body roll ...
