Megan track coilovers.

Just ordered a set. Now i know what you're thinking..Cheap *** coilovers..

I got them because of the added camber control (Front), and ride height adjustability. My QUESTION is, is anyone running these successfuly in autoX? Not neccessarily at a national level, but are they performing better than your average spring only evo..

I just dont have the budget this season for ohlins

anyways, thanks for any replies.

i had megan track series and did two autox events on them. my time definitely improved over stock. my setup gave the car a little over steer unlike stock. it also reduce the amount of body roll tremendously.

From what I've read they're definitely an improvement over the stock setup. Most people think they outperform most aftermarket springs as well. Yeah, they're cheap, but pretty descent really.

Again just what I've read.

Yes, the Megans are a nice value. My car handles very well and is extremely competitive w/ them Solo so far...

BTW, they're 12k/10k Fr/Rr

You'll enjoy them

you may ask the vendor whether you can swap the springs fron to rear. Having higher rate in the rear is beneficial.

I have a similar set, but 8k/10k. I think it's a little stiff for daily driving, but I guess better a stiff ride than nothing stiff at all, right? lol

Megan says you can go up or down 2k with their coilovers. So if you have a 12k spring in your track c/o you can switch to a 14k or 10k

Yeah. "They" (different C/O company, but use same dampers as Megan) told me I could go from 6 to 10, because they had already gone down 2k/mm on their own, and that was just like going from 8 to 10. (Sort of suspect, imho).

However my setup performed quite well at the edge (at a place with no mid-corner bumps).

lets see how long my dampers last, given that 2 _might_ be oversprung.
