Ill try to get some video if we can slap in in there during driver changes, at the least we will get some good photos. Don Knowles will be one of the other drivers so It should be a good time.

This time of year, watch out 'fer deer'... I'll see if I can talk myself into that drive. Would I be able to get into the paddock to stop over and say hello?

Yea you can get to the paddock for sure, the hot pit area no but you can get pretty close Im sure. I remember the deer from the 12 hours at Summit point a couple years ago. One went through the windshield of a spec miata, he pulled over got the rest of the windshield off the car and was on his way, next time downt he front straight the air rushing into his car blew the back window out of the car, pretty crazy. I do think they finished the race though.

Welll.............It was fun but overall result wasnt as good as We hoped. The main issue was that we were racing a Lotus for the T2 crown that has an "optional" 18 gallon tank to go along with its thifty 1.8 liter motor. Lets just say for every once they stopped to refuel, We stopped twice. Our fastest 3 drivers(Don Knowles, Rob Hines and Me) were all faster than their fastest driver but we just couldnt make up the difference lost to refueling. We tried some desperate stop and goes abandoning our original line up to try to catch them but that didnt really work. In the end due to the frantic schedule change, I was only able to drive the car for one tank-full or about 50 minutes. I can tell you one thing, that T2 350Z easily out handles My T2 Evo, Now they dont have our power but allowing them springs, swaybars and 285 mm tires, to our stock springs, sways and tires makes our cars feel like a truck in comparison. BTW, Don Knowles is one amazing driver easily turning the fastest laps of any of Us. This 350z only lacked the modded ECU to be up to full T2 specs. The funny thing about a race like this is that the first time I stepped into a 350Z was actually in the race, no practice, nothing. I was able to get to a 2:16.3 lap by the end of the session but Im sure I had another couple seconds in Me with a bit more track time. Fun part was We missed quals due to a cam sensor glitch so we started 76th overall. After Don and Rob drove, and we refueled, I went out in 24th and was able to get us to 13th by the time I came in. A good time, just a little dissapointed We couldnt catch the Lotus for first in T2.
