Super Lap Battle - Street Class EVO

I am new to this forum. Hope my pics work.

Here is my EVO 9 SE at Super Lap Battle. Entered into the Street class with Shinichi Kobayashi from MCR in Japan as the driver. Placed 4th in class - 2:01.796. Not too bad considering this was the car's first time out after being completed. Still have lots of tuning to do.

Basic drivetrain spec is:
Cosworth Head
Cosworth 280in/272ex cams
Cosworth 1.3 Headgasket
Tomei Ex Manifold
Tomei Turbine Outlet
Tomei Downpipe
Tomei Fuel Rail
RC 1000cc Injectors
Sard FPR
Fujitsubo Super Ti exhaust
XS Engineering Test Pipe
FP EVO Green Turbo
EVO Link standalone ECU
Carbonetic Carbon Twin Disc
Carbonetic Carbon Front LSD
Carbonetic Carbon Rear LSD
Re-mapped ACD controller from Japan
XS Engineering Hard Pipe Kit
K&N Intake
Car still needs lots of tuning. HP is not impressive at all but the goal for the initial tune was to get something safe for use at the track. Finished the initial tune at 4AM on the night before Super Lap Battle.

Thanks for looking.

Congrats on the nice ride! How come you are not driving the car? Look forward to seeing more.

I like your choice in parts What's done to the suspension and brakes though?

I'm not used to seeing flares for street tires. What size wheels and tires are you running?

The wheels are 18x9.5 +15 all around. 265/35/18 Azenis RT-615. Might try to fit a slightly wider tire or run 5-10mm spacers. Front and rear fenders seem to have a little room.

I am not sure if Kobayashi is considered a professional driver but the event organizers knew about my car and driver before the event, so I assume I complied with all rules.

Super Lap Battle was interesting and I hope to see more entrants next year. I believe this class will get larger and larger as it does not take huge amounts of money to be competitive. The first place street class car was simple and really fast.
