There are plenty of rallies going on in the U.S. already. Its not about new sites, its about getting more people out on the stages.
Right now rallying in the U.S. is starting to break out. Travis Pastrana and Ken Block are starting it. But its all Subaru. This could be a chance to get the Mitsubishi name out there a little more. It just has to be done right.
If you start a site, and someone with some fame starts going to the Xgames with a Mitsubishi, you'd see the site hits jump up like crazy, I guarentee that

I remember two things about Evos from the X Games:
1. When practicing the big jump an Evo rolled. Was that yours? It looks like your back end is taped up maybe?
2. Someone driving an Evo had problems at the starting line.
But yes, Subaru is spearheading rally in the U.S. I used to work Rim of the World and that is yet another event that is all about Subaru because they sponsor it. Until another car co. decides to start promoting rallies big time its going to be a Subaru dominated sport.
P.S. Love the pic

i will happy to meet any one to chat about rally. It is a big disappointment for me usa /about rally racing only
/
But i like to race ,and the only way i can get some sponsorship if i do something is kinda popular. That is why i did go for time attack and if i got enough sponsors go to wheel to wheel. That is the only close thing for rally. Remember the tarmac stages /sprint/, or rallycross.
If you guys want to download Hungarian rallycross + rally in High defenition here is one link. You need only WMP.

Martai, I'm not Hungarian (part Dutch, part Cuban) but I know a lot of rallists. I do hillclimb with Maros. He's from NJ via Hungary- amazing driver. I know he did some rally in Hungary. We're crewing for Burak Tuglu this year also I don't know if you've heard of Burak- his family is from Turkey. He's running a Focus next season. We'll be at Sandblast with him and then national events with Ramana Lagemann.
LancerGTS- both accounts were us. There's a thread about that week from hell somewhere. We rolled in practice, end over end. Then fixed the car with Derik, Bill Peter and myself, then the car overheated on the start line while the X games were on pause for a commercial break and the ECU went into limp mode and limited revs to like 4000. no speed/power= no jump. What they didn't show is that we did another round and finished 4th overall. The replacement radiator that we installed had a faulty fan switch from the outset.

Here's a good site for you racing fans.

Just got to register and download.
I'm kinda disappointed that Mitsu Motors NA doesn't push the real Ralliart products here themselves. I know they're expensive, but they do have homologated parts ready to go off the shelf.

do you think you can hook up me with the hungarian some how? i'm nnj. Park Ridge.
thanks
Maybe a bit of a history on Mitsu Rally, and a page where current folks campaigning an Evo can send you pics & info about their teams.
Rallying in the states can only get bigger now with some of the bigger $$ cars showing up, though it may not take the same form as "rally" that we're used to. I'd think its probably worth hanging onto the domain even if you don't have time to put together a site.

Don't Worry... I Don't plan on dropping the domain. If for nothing else, it will make a great site for my own Mistsu Rallying efforts.
But I really do want to make it more community based... Well, the community Rallying (or interested in Rallying) Mitsubishis.
I fully expect Ramada to make regular appearances. WINK WINK
LOL!
RallyDSM.
