Does anybody have 2008 dates for time attack events other than Redline time attacks? Do we know when/where the 2008 Tuner Shootout time attack will be? What about some other ones? Just trying to plan my year .

 

I would call One Lap of America a "Time Attack" event, as it is really a bunch of time trials wrapped in over-the-road driving.

NASA and SCCA have Time Trial programs, with NASA crowning a "national champion"

For other events there are a lot of single-marque clubs that run time trials, and then hillclimbs. Other than that I think that it might be a few weeks before schedules are announced, as usually larger clubs with longer histories with the tracks are given the chance at their tradional weekends, etc. (Also at the really big tracks with Pro Events, pro events take first pick)

2008 tuner shootout will be run entirely be Aaron Bittern of Speed Ventures this year. As soon as he gives us the date, we will post it

 

We'll be crowning Series Champions in each of the 9 Divisions, 3 Class Champions and one Grand Champion for 2008.
