And Kyle who continues to run the wheels of the car, never dropping a wheel or running into the dirt while blowing past guys like crazy gets what?

Go from the last row to 3rd in a race where only 4 guys don't get lapped and only 3 don't get a flag and other guys turn down cars.

How is Kyle not rated higher at that point?

Whatever.

Because I didnt have tattoo sleeves or a mohawk... or cry like a girl... ohhh or threaten other drivers with a knife... I was there to win the show and keep my mouth shut. They also didnt want to show my battle for 2nd place on the last lap... If I had one more lap I would have taken 2nd.

The wow car is cursed.

Kyle

I watched it last night and about freaked out when the wow car tried to turbo boost over the fence, knight rider style.

I hope that didnt take you out of the race, Kyle. That would be horrible. That co-drivers needs to go home, pronto!

Kind of a lame dig at Junior there. His statement and emotions seemed very real and he is a very genuine person who absolutely loves to drive. Anyone who has spent any time with him autoxing or as an instructor/student knows that.

No... i actually like Junior alot. What about the other 3 guys in the same episode crying on camera? The dude that was "flat broke"? and the dude they sent home for the turbo hose? It was not against Junior... its just me not liking the show only focusing on the drama aspect. If the show was on Fox or ABC I could see it, but its on SPEED CHANNEL...

I think they need to put the sponsor's names on the helmets because half the time, I'm trying to figure out what's going on and who's doing what. Outside of the wow factor car, that one guy with Bridgestone that was doing really well at the beginning, and that Geico guy that looks like Tarantino's lost cousin, I have no idea who anyone is driving for until the race is almost over. I would also agree that it's a shame they don't feature Kyle more. He hasn't seemed to have any trouble and they seem to just focus on the trouble makers with this show. Every time they announce the grid he seems to be either in the middle or the back and always seems to get up towards the front. I guess you have to pile-drive the back of someone else's car to get any attention on the show.

I have to say this season I've lost a lot of respect for the show. Lots of unnecessary drama. Producers creating the RULES as they go, WTF!!! These guys are the definition of the word OXYMORON,

Eg: Push hard or else we'll send you home and then they say drive dangerously and we'll send you home. See what I'm getting at?

Eg: Do whatever it takes to win ... but then they say intentionally block and we'll send you home ...

WTH!

I also don't have a problem with Junior. Seems like a good guy who can drive. In short the sort of fella who should be on the show.

There are still a lot of folks there however who should not be imo. They also cut it out like they are all about finding the best guys. They fastest guys.

In that episode the one dude told the world that "there are 3 or 4 guys who could be pro" and who do we think he was talking about? Who do we think he was leaving out?

Maybe I'm partial. Actually I'm sure that I am, whatever. I just agree that this is a show on the Speed channel and I expect they will show us less BS and more good racing and racers. We are not getting that.

Speed Channel might as well be called the NASCAR channel, which to me puts them roughly on the level of WWabcdef-whatever, which means its not surprising how they are handling this show.

I hear you on the other guys and their airtime. Unfortunately Scott Gillen loves to create shows with drama and not about racing. I loved when the "tech" guy told one kid (the uncomfortable one who said he was scared or something) to "turn us a number" in practice, but I have yet to see any times of any kind posted or mentioned from either season 1 or season 2. I could go on and on as others know all the "racers" gripes.

I'll be honest though, I like this MUCH more than watching Nascar pre-race, practice, qualifying, post qualifying debrief, pre race show, race, then post race and on and on and the old 60's nascar stuff. I was so happy to watch the Speed TC and GT Sebring races today on my day off.

In the end the prize is a very real opportunity as well as a boatload of cash, so there is something in it for competitiors even if they have to deal with all the twists and turns.

If there was not a huge boatload of cash and opportunity at the end of this as well as some bragging rights, I would care less that the playing field was not level.

i like the show cause theres nothing else like it on...but the as you go rules are insane. They show Kyle so little that i didnt even know he was driving for Robi. I only ever see the other driver and his dukes of hazard driving techniques!

I think Kyle needs a stylist.

Face it dude. Your just an average, boring white dude. You need a cool hair cut, some tats, a pierced eyebrow and some shades. We'll then get you a nice fake accent and dress you up like some jr high school kid with a self destructive streak.

Then you will be cool enough to get some air time!

maybe.
