And you need to yell at Robi and create some driver/crew chief drama. And same for you robi. You gotta think less racing and more acting.

Cause if you dont you will get voted off the island! Oh wait wrong show, I mean there gunna say your not giving at 10/10ths and send you home....LOL

The "opportunity" is bogus. Whoever wins will get to test the pontiac, yes, but there is no one on this show with the talent to drive that thing in Grand Am. Jeremy is a good deal more talented that anyone in this bunch, and he is obviously not driving for a Grand-Am team as a sponsored driver. That is another whole level, unless you are a pay driver that brings a lot of $$$ to the table. Personally, the show is kind of a joke. Here they are at Willow springs, and they keep running the same stupid little track that no sanctioned racing organization would even race on. I don't see the point.

In my opinion, 3-4 guys could run in grand-am no prob. Jeremy tested for pontiac and didnt get the ride.. Drew S. tested and got the ride. Drew was running within the top lap times at the Lime Rock rolex GT race last year. You cant tell what the talent level is by watching the crappy editing they did. If they would have mounted a fixed cam inside one of the cars and let you watch 1 full lap... you would be able to tell. Also... we were racing on "street tires". Who races on street tires??? hah.

Good Points Kyle...And I was not bagging on you, by the way. I have not been able to see you drive at all the way the coverage is.

Kyle- Just so you know, my wife is very upset on your behalf.

"How can they do that to Kyle. He is so cute! They don't have many cute people on that show and they act like that! Shame on them!"

You now have a fan club dude.

As for the pads... They had ZERO to do with the guy going off and through the fence. Also, I assume that they must have had a rule about not modifying parts otherwise what was done just seems smart.

I know you guys don't care to seem sour grapes and all which is admirable but I see the folks on the show bending over backwards to give some folks every chance and advantage while some just get hosed at the first hint of an issue.

So whats up next? Any chance you go back?

I didnt think you were bagging on me. I can see how watching the show from your point of view would be hard to judge. I said it myself... "jeez we look like we are going really slow". The reality was, the top 8 cars in every race was driving 75% of the lap in the slip angle. to get the car to turn, we were literally throwing the cars around. The first lap was a nightmare because the tires were cold, then the came up and were good (for a street tire) for 2 laps... then the rears went away on lap 3 and you had to hold on for dear life. Then factor in Scott telling our crew chief that if we dont make a pass we go home... then factor in the dirt and dust all over the track

In all honesty, the show was a stress nightmare

Thank her for the kind words...

What they didnt show last night was... originally Scott sent us home right after Ernesto crashed the car because of the fire pin. He then proceeded to beg me and Robi to come back to the studio the next day, and made us think that he might keep us on the show. I now know that he only wanted to make an example of me and Robi for using chipped front brake pads.

For the record... using those pads would have NEVER made a dangerous situation on the race track. You have 4 brake pads on the front of the car and they are not connected. What are the chances of all 4 pads crumbling at the same time?

They also didnt show me going off to Tommy Kendal how i thought Scott was doing a horrible job at picking and choosing his favorites on the show and how its a joke.

Sorry for the rant

Scott does come off as a Complete Tool (Probably not acting) - He's laughing all the way to the bank

For TK - it's ashame, but being connected to that show is obviously just another paycheck, and it shows!

Why would they pick the ditzy chick to co-host??? I'm sure there are a lot of hot looking ladies with some racing knowledge??? Aside from her looks, how did she get that gig???

A side note, Robi looked like Clinton telling the press he didn't have any sexual relations with......

Hopefully you got a bit of seat time - certainly didn't get any airtime

I was really sorry to see you go especially for something really stupid. The show this season seemed so disorganized and felt like everything was up in the air when it came down to rules. One person here said it best, it did seem like they gave people who deserved to go home more chances then you. To me it kills the whole concept of the show and really isn't fair to the other guys who deserve to be there.

Haha.. i'm not sure how she got the job.

Tommy was actually very nice. He said during my interview "people watching this at home are going to think you got a pretty raw deal". He felt it was a little silly to send us home over the the brake pads. The bottom line is that Scott doesnt understand much about how cars work. He thought that Ernesto might have crashed because of our brake pad mod... (on throttle tank slapper... hmm)

I'm fine with no air time... The seat time was good but not worth all of the stress.

Sorry to hear what happen, but IMHO you have every right to RANT. The show is a joke this season. Head host is a joke! You couldn't have put it better when you said the guy was just trying to un-necessarily stress out the drivers and the crew chiefs with bogus, make 'em as you go rules. Bogus!

Maybe I should be glad that I can never watch the show because I'm not home when its on. I caught a little of one episode between run session at Willow Springs in the cafe that has a TV. Robi was just standing there in dark glasses glowering and looking mean. lol

Show pissed me off so much. Robi and Kyle, you guys did great. Its obvious they are not looking for best person, but just looking to make as much drama as possible. The constant rule changes and stress they induce is just BS. You cant tell someone to push that hard for no reason. Even now in the show you guys got cut (total bs, get back to that) they are making Mike and Mike Jr push. Those guys are consistently good, and now they are going to try to send one home for not making a pass on the first lap? Are you freakin serious? They do know about warming up tires right? It seems like they want people to wreck.

As far as the brake pad BS...thats how you push a spec car. Its called race secrets. A couple shows back, I think it was chad that had a turbo hose pop off and they sent him home. Key to that was when they asked him how it was bolted on, he said "trade secret". Obviously these guys are making small mods here and there to squeek out a little more. Shouldnt get penalized for that, thats what your SUPPOSED TO DO. Set the car up (Hence the f'ing name of the show) so that its faster then the rest.

Ernesto's spin had nothing to do with brake pads. He overcooked that chicane, came out hot, and kept trying to overcorrect. First thing you learn is both feet in (clutch and brake) and get control. That guy was a rook, he was the only one damaging that car the whole time. I loved when Robi yelled at Tracy the other crew chief to pull him off. One more lap on the stanley car? Dude are you stupid, the tire is overheating from rubbing on the fender, he's going to wreck.

GRR! I cant watch this thing anymore. Its getting me so pissed off lol.

Ditto, Ditto, Ditto, and Ditto. F*** speed's producers. They should have built up for an endurance race or something that would have proven the best driver/chief/luck combo and cut this 1 lap awwww poor baby sh**. Annoyed the hell out of me too.
