Massa is quick over one lap, no doubt. While no one was pressuring him from behind, I believe that he was over driving to keep up with Kimi. Massa is loathe to admit that his teammate has greater talent and race pace, and he is pushing beyond his limits to maintain that denial. It will take a couple more races of being beaten by Kimi in straight fights before Massa is broken in as a number 2. Then I think we'll see more consistency out of him.

yeah i agree wasn't that exciting... talk about a botched pit stop for l. hamilton, almost 20 secs! they really had some trouble getting that front right tire out... and his chassis was setup too stiff you can see the inner wheel lift on some corners, probably didnt' help that the tire cooling cap was screwed up and he was locking up his brakes on a couple turns.. he def lost some positioning after the debacle but being penalized 5 positions from the start was bad

At the rate Massa's going, DNF is going to be all he is consistent at.

But seriously, Kimi is great and the aero of the Ferraris this year may be unmatched. I want to see more slicing and dicing between him and Hamilton. For what Hamilton had to deal with, I would say his 5th place finish was a strong one. On that 1st pit stop, I was trying hard not to yell expletives at the screen. Somebody has to get the McLaren crew some Snap-on impact tools.

that was a great race. i think the FIA is doing a good job of evening out the playing field. many are saying they are taking it to far, but if you can get a ferrari, mclaren, bmw, williams all on podium in only 2 races, we are doing better then the last couple years as far as competition is concerned. and look how many different teams have points! much better then before. the mid field cars are all much more evenly matched, and there are no cars that are totally outmatched like when the super aguri cars were lapped 5-6 times in a race.

my A driver took the win and did well with webber and ferrari. rosberg in the williams dissapointed me though in the pick 6 competition i actually guessed hamiltons place correctly :P i felt he was going to have problems. no one goes so long without having mechanical issues, so its his turn.

The racing is much more exciting than last year. I love the common ecu.

All they need now is the ability to pass. Let us all pray for rain on every circuit for the rest of the year.

+1

You would think the non-Ferrari fans (and F1 fans in general) would exhibit proper sportsmanship and hope for great competition, the best driver winning etc....

NAAAA AHHHHHH....

...They will be praying that some mechanical catastrophie happens as Kimi stretches his legs.....

....true sportsmen.

Lewis is getting a Mclaren F1 LM if he wins both the Drivers Championship and brings home the Constructors Title for Merc/ McLaren.

What will Kimi get if he wins??
