Redline Time Attack - Gateway Raceway, April 18th-20th
You guys were a blast to watch!
I was there with our car club for the Nopi car show event. My car was not in the show, I was there more as support for the club which actually gave me more time to watch the Time Attack. We were the club that had the golf cart on air bags. You may have noticed me over there with our cart drooling over your cars.
I didn't even realize they were doing the Time Attack at Nopi. Last year they only did drift and drag racing. This was so much better.
Nick in the A4 had come over to our tent and we got to talking. He let me ride passanger during the last practice on Sunday. His car was just a daily driver with a few mods but it was awesome being out on the track.
Maybe someday my car will be track worthy and I can join you guys.

The BC racing car is capable and most certainly able to run the 1:05's. I just saw in car footage that we timed at around a 1:05 and footage of the lap that it went off at around 1:20+.
After that session, they started experiencing front brake fade, because they lost 1 or 2 pistons on both sides of the front calipers (leaking), and while they were in a hurry to try reset the rear camber, and didn't have enough time to finish the alignment, resulting in almost 2 inches of toe in in the rear.
And that was in the timed session resulting in a 1:10 with those problems. That car came straight off of the SEMA show floor, so it was the first time that car even saw a track or any abuse.
I personally don't think it is their fault that the other 3 unlimited RWD entrants decided to leave on Sunday (the day of the time attack). So for them winning the Unlimited RWD. Cool, I wish there was more competition and that the car would have been sorted out before hand.
