Redline Time Attack, Gateway Raceway, July 28th-29th
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to start a thread for our next Redline Time Attack event, scheduled for July 28th-29th at Gateway International Raceway just outside of St. Louis.
Saturday is a high performance driving day/open track day/practice....with registration being $175.
Sunday is the Time Attack day, with registration being $200.
If you register for both days together, the cost is $350.
I will keep a running list of those front running teams that give us verbal commitments to attending this event and post that here:
AMS Performance
DTM Motorsport
For more information related to this specific event, you can always visit our website or give us a call:

If you have any questions for us, you can always post here. Hopefully we'll see a whole bunch of MidWest EVO's at this event!

Just to clarify for anyone interested. Saturday is open for ANYONE. You do not have to compete in the Time Attack on Sunday. At only $175 for 2.5 hours of expected track time, it is one of the least expensive open track days at Gateway Raceway you will ever see!!!!
Spoke with Chris about this last night. He knows he is behind on this and said he would complete all of his website updates "soon". Hopefully that means tonight and tomorrow night.

Looks like 2hrs of tracktime on Saturday? 4 - 30min sessions. It is an HPDE / lapping even then pretty much? I would guess most of the people competing on Sunday would be using Saturday for more of a test/tune?
As for Sunday, sounds like that's the meat and potatoes. Does everyone run like a transponder and the fastest lap(s) per class recorded or?
PS - I'll add you to the Midwest Sticky....

On Saturday you would actually receive 2.5 hours of track time.... 5 seperate 30 minute sessions. Saturday is pretty much an open track day, open to anyone. You do not need to compete on Sunday in order to drive on Saturday. Sunday is the Time Attack day.. three practice sessions and 2 Time Attack sessions in the afternoon. You are correct about the transponders. We have AMB transponders that we supply to each racer on Sunday so that we may record the lap times for qualifying and competition.

I've never been to a Time Attack, but am very interested in getting into one.

For Sunday, for the actual TA, what do the top times in each class get?
Currently we give away plaques and trophies to the top three finishers in each division and class. Our contingency sponsors give away money, credit and/or products, based on where you finish overall and if you have any of their products on your vehicle.
