"Where's my point-by?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!"
I see no reason he couldn't have just gapped out a little bit or a quick drive through the pits or even kept both hands on the steering wheel and tried to pass the guy. S2k boy spends so much time waving his hands around his lines end up being a mess.
What frightens me is that I have to be on track with both those guys.
And his "i wanna be initial d" antics on the street scare me more than his track driving:

Wow.... the guy in the S2k is a ****ing moron! He's all waving his hands in areas that aren't even safe to pass! If he really wanted to pass, he should've given himself some space so that he could've gotten a run on the mustang into a braking/good passing zone. Instead, he rides the bumper of the mustang in the twisties where the mustang is slower, killing his exit speed, then gets left behind on the straight where he's out powered.
I don't want that guy driving anywhere near me.

I can't even watch more of it without posting... At first I was on his side, before watching the video, just with assuming what it was like... I've been stuck behind PLENTY of idiots in all levels of classing with all sorts of HPDE groups. I figured it was another one of those bad cases where the guy was an ******* (the guy who was "needing" to be passed) and was purposely blocking the other guy off. Now I'm pissed at the S2000 driver for being such a ****ty driver. There have always been cars I've been stuck behind with more hp and less turning ability, from the early days in our S2k, to the Evo, all up until the Evo had slicks (which allowed me to pass pretty much anything anywhere), and now all the time again with the Porsche. Ever since first being held up by a stock 996T in the Evo with R-comps I never held up someone longer than I had to (meaning, waiting for a passing zone, if it was a classing where point bys and passing zones were needed).
But if you're getting held up in an OPEN passing class in HPDE (where drivers can be at fault for other accidents, unlike real racing) and you still can't pass... Then you suck. I'm only half through the video and have seen plenty oppertunities for the S to pass, if the driver was being smart. And only one where the Mustang did something they should not have done.
Seriously, if I come up on a high hp car that I'm faster than in the corners (regardless of driver skill or car ability, since I may come upon a real fast Evo with a ****ty driver and be faster than him in corners) I'm not waving my hands around, I'm waving my car around
So sad... Especially since I know that track is crazy fast in a well set-up S... Who knows what the guy has done on it though.

Well, now that I finished it, I'd also like to add that whether they were needed or not, the Mustang driver definitely should have lifted when he gave the point by. And also that you can clearly see "Richard" is not responsible for the pass that finally happens, the increased size in the reproductive organs in the S2000 driver are responsible. He tries this same move earlier in the video but backs off... Either way, I agree that neither should've been in the higher classing... Guys like the guy in the S2000 are guys who would spin out when I would be right behind them because they want to prove they're more of a man than some little kid and push it too hard. Last time it was a heavily modded G35 coupe. People just need to learn how to drive and learn their limits...
