Pride of France at Sebring

Peugeot's driver Stephane Sarrazin set fastest time in practice at Sebring today in the American Leman's series. God I wish I didn't have to work this weekend. If there are any Evo owners in Florida, don't miss this race! Audi against Peugeot in the fastest sports car race on planet earth! Right here in America! Stephane's time was 144.719 seconds. Are there any Florida Evo owners who have driven Sebring? How ridiculous is that time compared to mortal Evo street car times?

Audi R8 1:48.580
Aston Martin DBR9 1:56.599
Porsche 911 GT3 RSR 2:04.547
Porsche 993 cup ?:??
Spec Racer Ford 2:35.100
Spec Miata 2:39.7
Honda S2000 2:37.26

Porsche 968 2:33.34

at my local track, the TTB Evo had the same time as the GT3RSR with a pro driver, if that helps put it in perspective

Nice to see your excited on the 12hr. However the fastest time has been layed down by the "Dream Team" Car No. 2 the Audi R15 at 1:43.596. Drivers are Allan McNish, Tom Kristensen and Dindo Capello.

Also interesting note: Acura has joined LMP1 this year... respectively their laps have been 0.1 and 0.8 seconds off the slower Peugeots.

I'm so depressed! I feel like driving up to Bradley International in Connecticut and flying stand by to Orlando! Do you think there would be any rental cars left at the airport Saturday morning in Florida! Laugh!...I remember seeing the GTP cars in 1998 through 91 at Lime Rock Park. It has taken all this time for the cars to match the crazy performance/times of the GTP cars from back then! Watching 1200hp+ coming up No Name Straight into the Up Hill was absolutely breath-taking! Bubble cockpit space machines driven in total glory under the sky!!

No one's visiting Dis. world so there's about 1/8th of the US total rental inventory just sitting there lol. About 2 hours or less to the raceway from there. Great race, been there 5 years in a row...except for this year

Peugot blew it last year. but hey it was a new car last year too. Also, R15 x 2 for Audi. Also Acura joins LMP1. GT2 looks SICK this year also with the Corvettes moving down. I'll be at turn 1 in the motorhome this year, no pit box. booooo

Balrok, I wish we could have met up at one point, well maybe next year...

First few years we had a motorhome on the inside right at turn 2, but got expensive and got sick of drunk rednecks pissing on our RV and fighting right by the window. I'd do Turn one club or the outside back near 17 for sure.

The new RSR looks hot as does the M3

Also should be great when the Vettes enter into GT2 - What a field!
