Question about APR GTC 200 wing

Hi All,

I did my search an evom and out but can’t find my answer.
I have an evo 8 some track mods, but now I need to change my stock wing to one with more down force.
The thing the GTC 300 is a bit too big for an evo without a wide body kit. So I am thinking on the GTC 200.
My question is dos it gives better down force than the stock wing.
I even contacted APR and thy said thy haven’t done any flow test on the stock wing. So the only way to know know is from ppl who changed there wing to GTC200 and used it on the track.

Thank you for your help

OTM

Yes you will see an improvement because you can adjust the angle of attack on the APR wing. The stock one is at 0 degrees IIRC.

I run a NASA Super Touring 2 Evo 8 race car with a APR front splitter, canards, rear diffuser and 200 rear wing with the stock Evo 8 bumper. Last year I was able to pass a Flying Lizards Porsche GT 3 at the Pocono International long course. Run the whole front straight into NASCAR turn 1 then flat out all the way to turn 2. I was hitting 155mph at the 7200rpm rev limit in 5th gear before the turn in point for the NASCAR turn 2 (tunnel turn). I could run just below the rev limit at 150 mph through the banked turn before threshold breaking for the 2cd gear left hand hairpin turn. I was a quite a bit faster than the ST-2 Evo 9 MR running a stock rear wing with the gurney strip.
