Peter,

I think I'd rather do the EMRE at Thunderbolt rather than the NASA at Lightening this June - with the discount, what would my cost be??

Thanks, Troy

As an aside, what is the preferred hotel out near NJ Motorsport Park? I heard a lot of the ones in Millville are pretty seedy.

I'm very much looking forward to driving home (1 hour) after each event for a warm meal and a good sleep!

It's a miserable drive to and from there. I'll probably drive there Saturday morning but will get a hotel Sunday night.

I'm debating ponying up for one of the trackside VIP suites. I'll bring a six pack of quality brews and spend the evening tossing a few back while relaxing right on site.

My only concern is getting food. I wonder if you can get pizza delivery to them or if they close the gates at a certain time.

Not bad. I was expecting them to be more expensive.

Are you going to be at Shenandoah in May?

We stayed at the Quality Inn and Suites in Millville and it was fine..not a high end resort..BUT it was only $70. The SCCA/NJMP/EMRA/TrackDaze usally will qualify you for a discount. And it is only 5 miles from the track. NJMP suites are very cool but not cheap and going in and out after hours can be a pain. If you want one for a big event..you probably already paid for it..as they are booked way ahead of the events! As far as the cost for the EMRA events..they vary slightly from track to track but a fair average is about $190 each event. MPG has been trying to also get bulk discounts at "local" hotels near all the tracks and we have been making some progress but we are not ready yet..But all you guys going to these events will REALLY help get us all a way to save a little more money to play with ! See you soon, Pete

thats what I 'heard' last weekend at the track. They don't list prices so I can't confirm if its true or not but the rooms are huge or anything, (and it is Millville ) so it could very well be true.

I'm already registered for Shenandoah w/trackdaze, how about you?

You can find the info on MJMP's site for the suites..$185 pr. night TO $350. per night (3 night min.) Price varies by event...they don't list club track weekends..that amount Varies so you have to call them to get the pricing and availability. Pete
