so i went out to my second auto-x yesterday...what a blast!! i've been wondering why i ever considered taking the evo only in a straight line. anyway, since it was my second time auto-x'ing, i was in the novice class. the first auto-x i went to, i came in second in the class so i knew i had to bump it up today

not sure what the exact times were but the 4 runs were about 50.xxx, 47.xxx, 46.8xx + 1 cone, and 46.156...the second place finisher in the novice class was slower than my first run and had a 50.7xx so i got a lot of praise from the commentators

anyway...here are the vids. the go-pro vid is of my first run (50.xxx) and it seems pretty slow looking at it from that angle, albeit a badass angle if you ask me. the second vid is of my last and fastest run.

you did a good job driving! it looks looks fun and fast although i have to say that has to be the least technical autox course i have ever seen.

edit: just want to be clear, i am not being negative just thought it was a fairly straight forward course.

 

haha yea it probably is...like i said this is my second time so i haven't been out to any other tracks yet. a bunch of s2k's went out that day so i went on the s2ki forum to look for pics. apparently they call the deland auto-x course the "ice rink". i guess people look at it differently when you don't have the privilege of AWD

What kind of rims and tires were you running? The last run would've taken 1st in SM. Good job.
