I have been studying this thread quite a bit when trying to determine what to get for a trailer.

I have really thought about an flatbed, but in today's economy, trailer dealers in my area can't move any inventory.

I can get a NEW 20' enclosed trailer for the price of a used tiltbed or lightweight flatbed. With the added security and extra cargo room, I think that is the way to go right now.

Cool, ya go for it. My open was....inherited so I can't complain. I WILL get an enclosed eventually. However if I were shopping for one right now, i'd get one specifically engineered with a generator AND a spot outside to plug 120v in, and also one that has the floors/ceilings/walls treated or covered already - cause that was a huge pita to do on another buddies trailer.
