We will be racing at Summit on May 17th/Sunday, race 4. Soo we will be on right before or after lunch. The field so far is listed below, all 6 drivers are/were top 10 at the runoffs, should be a great race with 5 drivers that were in the top 10 at the runoffs last year.

the track is all torn up again/already - the whole carousel from #5 to 8.

I came home with about 8 pounds of their asphalt in my wheels a few weekends ago

Just keep your left foot on the brake around the carosel and you'll find a decent line. It didn't bother me any. Certainly not as bad as it has been! lol

 

After #5 - I don't touch the brakes until #10 Oops, a little touch before #6

Best of luck Marty. I'll be at the Shenandoah circuit with Trackdaze that weekend so I'll try to stop by. What's the deal for spectators?

 

hmm Not sure, id guess you could walk over to the big stands that are closest to where youll be. Car is all set, we will be there practicing on Friday, quals is sat and race is Sunday. If people are running on Shenendoah on saturday, maybe I can stop in and watch after quals.

Char, If I can do it...I will be a last second Instructor entry..I think at this point Sat is very possible..but I want to be there both days. I will probably have to call Jeremy on the cell when I am on my way down Fri afternoon and let them know I am coming..IF..IF ..IF But I sure want to !!!!! Hope to see you there..that is such a fun track, not alot of( oh SH**!!) room, but way fun anyway. Pete

 

CJ it was nice meeting you. Sorry I couldn't come back to the pits on raceday, I was a little preoccupied with an off-track excursion I had on Saturday. But I did manage to watch you guys from one of the stands near Gasoline Alley. You guys were flying through that part of the track, especially the downhill esses, FABULOUS! Wasn't sure how far into the race it was, but looked like you guys were leading. Looking forward to the results!
