Come Find Out what your real Top Speed is. You can even get a certificate to prove it - none of this fake time slip you found out at the darg strip and scanned it on your friends pc stuff. certified, authorized, legit.

And for those who are too lazy to check out the link.... mmmm Swimsuit Contest...

The EVO has very agressive gearing, with the stock 3:73s the car simply runs out of revs over 160 or so. However, there is one EVO I've seen thats ridiculously worked with less agressive gearing that hits 230.

It's be nice to have a certificate that sayd my mod'd even ran a certified 180mph though, heck 170mph would even be pretty nice. And it will be really neat to see who hits 200mph and awesome for those that break the 220mph barrier.

THere are going to many cars there, not just a few evos. Hopefully the McLaren F1 owner from Houston will come run a 230mph pass. An Evo and McLaren would be cool to see back to back.

Give me more details... I personally don't believe an Evolution will ever reach 230mph... Well, with nothing short of a radical new body that gives a lot less drag at top speed, and perhaps a rocket booster...

Ok guys, 120 foot rollout followed by 1 mile straight at the end of which you get hit with a radar gun to determine top speed. Guys, stock our Evo's will not hit top speed after one mile. Trust me, I absolutely know this for a fact, we just don't have enough power up top to max out even if we are gear limited. One mile is not a very long distance to accelerate in, but it looks like it would be fun to see what some of the really high HP cars would do though.

It's not as good as a 12 mile ring that's a given, but it's usually pretty darn close to true top speed. And swimsuit contests between high speed runs with mega powerful rides is always fun in my book.
