tilton pedals
just curious if anyone has done a tilton pedal conversion on their evo.... i think our pedals are real awkward & not suitable for possible heel & toe'ing...
anyone have real life experience with tiltons? how big of a deal is it to install?

No first-hand knowledge though; sorry.
Complex setup to say the least. If you've ever taken the dash off you've seen how the brake and clutch pedals are in all sorts of F*d up angles and go all the way to the top of the firewall. The throttle any of us could hook up in an hour, but the rest ya, we need help
So someone needs to hound the AMS guys to kit it up for the CT9A's.
A second thought on that topic. I've always wanted the Tilton pedals but also wanted to use the Tilton master cylinder with the 3 fluid reservoirs - One for the front tires, One for the rear tires, and the third for the clutch. Like the SCCA books states - in the event that a line brakes and the fluid escapes, you at least have the rear or front brakes still. I think the Pikes Peak guy had his done, but AMS didn't do it......
Bumping the hell out of this one
Edit: Has anyone looked at any International sources? (rally)

i would love them , if some how, i could replace my drive by wire system...
Not to mention , i find more awkward pedal position on the X, then any previous evo i have driven before.
Damn Mitsubishi...

i know of guys that will modify the oem pedals, bending them closer.
obviously this is a personal setup decision.. not all legs or feet are made the same

We didn't had a time. But in the winter sure we will look into it again.
Also all the WRC cars and open classes they modify they pedals. Even in the states

I've never had a problem with heel-toe in my lancer. Maybe I'm just the right size?
You must not mash the brakes hard enough. J/K. I compress the brakes plenty hard enough to get my heel to the gas.
