Team USA – MORO/HOLTER

Team USA 1 PW / PM sits 9th in points after 3 stages behind team UK, but the gap is big.
Team USA 2 MJ / KB is 11th. 3 points behind Team 1.

 

MJ 6th overall after 6 stages on day one !!!

Team USA 1 – MORO/HOLTER after SS7
“We had to be more careful with the tires. It was complicated this time.”

Team USA 2 – JOHNSSON/BEAVIS after SS7
“I felt really good with the changes we made to the car. I had a lot of fun on this stage. I’m a happy driver!”

Two runs of the super special will conclude day one.

MJ is 11th overall in the rally while Piotr is 12th.

Team USA 1 – MORO/HOLTER after stage 8: Car overturned during the first lap, broken windshield and open trunk; completed the second lap. "We overturned because the hand-brake broke. We've got a lot of work to do. Hey, if you stop by a souvenir store, please buy me a new windshield!”

Team USA 2 – JOHNSSON/BEAVIS
“We had a lot of fun. It was quite a show for the audience. I've had a good laugh with this."
