2009 Rally of Nations

For 2009 Corona Rally Mexico will run as usual as one of the fastest, highest and more compact international rally for the drivers’ delight and challenge to write their names next to the previous winners. Besides they will also score points for their country in the Rally of Nations. Each country’s team of 2 cars will be awarded both drivers’ points given according to their stage position. This will allow to accumulate positive points for the driver’s and for the country’s title as well as to maintain the interest throughout the event.

The idea of this event is to bring the emotional side of the Olympic games or the world cup to the automobile world with the possibility of several teams per country.
