Chad can really tune for a safe and fast car..Summit main in Nov. with stock bils.and GT worx springs and ice on the track 1:26..but I was only off the podium once for the 08 season and this season(with inexpensive C/O installed) 2nd place every TT so far. Talk about a reliable tune..no motor issues at all. Pete

Pete,

Congrats, on your successful season! I am entertaining the idea of starting NASA racing with my new EVO. I do about 20 days a year at the DE's and really want to step up. I am going to class my car and see where I stand and then go from there.

Awesome, I look forward to seeing you run with NASA MA. To be quite honest the other 1-2 Evo TT drivers that drive with us suck. They're just drivers and they don't even own the cars so they're snobby and don't know anything about their vehicles. Let us know what events you might get into. We're going to VIR this month and we'll be back at Summit in October I think.

I was trying to get to the NASA event at Pokey-no this weekend..but it isn't looking good so far. But I think my friend Tim and his X might make it, watch out for some crazy lap times !!! And I think another IX (Brian) will also go..he is a new guy to road racing but is getting faster every event. We were all at NJMP Lightning last weekend and it was super fun. I spun off once in a cloud of NJ dust (first time for all 4 wheels off) and Tim lapped me (everybody) twice in practise. And Brian is getting much faster in his IX every event so I had better get back to CBRD pretty quick for some more GO...otherwise TROUBLE for this years championship !!! I gave up with Tim (Stiggy) he is hopeless..but Brian is sneaking up fast with his lap times !!! Pete

I took 4 wheels off at Lightening turn #5 – Lotsa run-off, fortunately!!

Curious where you went off??

Turn 4 at Lightning...the left before the "rise". I was corner working that section Fri & Sat and was watching the racers zipping thru, so I tried a different line at a higher speed and with the shock settings to soft and was rewarded with probably 2 inch's of dust EVERYWHERE in the car-in my helmet-my hair...but ZERO damage to anything but the ego. I have been to Thunderbolt in my friends 06 IX MR before he had the BBk and turned a 1:31. I am looking forward to getting there in mine. I have not been on Lightning yet but hope to get there this year.

My buddy keeps upgrading his car and he offered his old cams to me for a good price. He says " just put my old cams, an intercooler and the BBK and then you will be really fast".

I told him when he starts turning better laptimes than me with his 100 hp more then I will make some upgrades

Marty, You should drop by an EMRA TT sometime..pretty inexpensive track time!! My last trip to Thunderbolt (with one chicane) 1:39:56-nowhere near a 1:31 !!! Adam, you would have plenty of time for a power nap before I came by. Pete

Funny Pete

That was in a different car and no chicane coming out of turn 2.

I look forward to doing some good laps in my new EVO.
