Loosing some rust

I did not drive in the past years on gravel or dirt. So we decided before Rally West Virginia i will shake some rust off my feet and hands.
We got some practice lands roads up in the Adirondacks, thanks for our sponsors.

I had a GREAT weekend just as my team members. So i decided to put some pictures up and very very short videos too , to thank them.

So i have to say Brenden from Driver Technologies has a best camp site . Privat Lake /big/ and house road etc. We had a great time there, and i cant recall when i had this great weekend in the past 10 years.
Here is one picture from that:

'
Thanks Brenden!!!

Also Jeff from BRIAutoengeneering , let us use his "shop" car. Which has no breaks what so ever, and hood etc. But hell of a fun to drive .

And for Logan to make this whole thing possible, also lend his car for couple of run:

There was another reason to go up there to see the building progress of the car for Rally West Virginia. They Make an amazing job up there and i really appreciate that. Thanks GUYS!!!!

Can anyone tell me what kind/size brakes on that Evo?

I would like some smaller brakes for my X so I can use smaller rims, similar to a rally gravel setup.

The weekend went well... Carlos not at the table, lots of Hungarian meat and food, canoe/kayaking, some practice in the dirt, and some work to the X. Sorry about your feet!

Thank you.

Will that allow 15 inch rims/tires?

PS sorry to bug you,but I just looked at the pictures of the build of the Evo....very nice. Was that a pre-bent cage kit(from Sparco or similar)or was it made from scratch?

You should bring that one up here to Targa.

Yep, the ams kit will allow for a 15'' wheel. The cage is custom to spec for U.S.R.C. and R.A.

Cage is FIA spec which allows it to be run in USRC and RA.

Had a great time this weekend, Rob drove my 8 so hard in practice that it force power steering fluid out the top of the resevoir. Definately worked the car well though with only some minor damage (tires off the bead and a bent end link) but that is what happens playing in the dirt.

As far as what is coming up we have the KSport hydraulic brake being installed soon as well as the AMS brake kit and motor mounts. The plating will be done shortly and the gravel rims/tires are on their way. By the next testing weekend we will have the X out to run the roads and ther rallyx course.

Oh and Rob, that pic on the way back from Lunch in Old Forge better stay in the vault LOL.

Robby, remember where your car sleeps at night LOL. The sunroof is my escape hatch when the car is on its side....
