EVOLUTION DYNAMICS unlimited Time Attack Build!
no updates, been busy on all the customer cars. we are still in the progress building our custom tubular removable core support. its going to allow easy removal of everything in the front, and were considering dry break radiator hoses too. simply to make working on the engine and turbo easy as pie!
ok, small updates:
cut the ends of the frame rails off and tam and clayton made some steel plates with nuts welded on the back for bolting the tubular core support to

we are picking up the tube tomorrrow to begin the tube work. tonight i'll be working on the upper core support mating points at the edge of the fenders.

doing a little at a time, but we got the tube in, and bent the lower part of the core support. no bad for first try, eyeballing it, on a tube bender with a 1.75" tube die trying to bend a 1" tube

we were invited to race the pikes peak hill climb with in in july. i have been posting the updates in the pikes peak build. but here is the latest as of last week (the last 5 days i've been prepping cars for last weekends race)
updates:
i put in a mock up motor with my turbo kit to see how everything will fit and to wire the car:

also working on reinforcing the cage to the front strut towers

the tubular front core support was bent and fitted:

and welded together:

the core support comes off with 6 bolts. its strong enough i can jump on it and it doesn't flex at all too
getting the radiator mounts plasma cut this week so we can weld them on the support as well.
